Padel is new at BerkSports. Since 4 September 2026 members have been able to book a padel court in Hoofddorp: 60, 90 or 120 minutes, on weekday evenings and during the day on Saturday. You book online, pay straight away, and the door code is in your confirmation email.
The court is not at the gym on the Rijnlanderweg itself but on the Schiphol Trade Park business park in Hoofddorp. It is an outdoor court with floodlights.
Where is the BerkSports padel court?
The padel court BerkSports members can book is at New Terra, Dream Street 12, 2133 LK Hoofddorp, on the Schiphol Trade Park business park. It is an outdoor court with floodlights, so you can play there on a dark weekday evening too. The toilet is on the other side of the car park.
Do note the address: BerkSports itself is at Rijnlanderweg 1069 in Hoofddorp. That is where you train; Dream Street is where you play padel. Your booking confirmation repeats the address.
When can you play padel at BerkSports?
The padel court is open Monday to Friday from 20:00 to 22:00 and on Saturday from 12:00 to 22:00. It is closed on Sunday. You can start on every half hour and book up to 30 days ahead.
If you would like to play at the same time every week, BerkSports can hold a fixed slot for you. That can also fall outside the times the system offers as standard. Send an email to info@berksports.nl to arrange it.
What does a padel court at BerkSports cost?
Hiring a court costs €28.30 for 60 minutes, €42.30 for 90 minutes and €56.30 for 120 minutes. That is the price for the whole court and not per person: if there are four of you, divide it by four.
You pay while booking. As soon as you have chosen a time slot the payment link appears on screen; on a computer there is a QR code alongside it so you can pay with your phone. Free cancellation is possible up to 3 hours before the start, via info@berksports.nl.
How do you book the padel court?
Booking is done on the BerkSports padel page. You first choose how long you want to play, then a day and a start time, and fill in your name and email address. You only see start times where the whole session is still free. You then pay through the payment link, tick that the payment has been made, and the court is yours straight away. The confirmation email with the details and the door code arrives immediately.
Only BerkSports members can book a court. Anyone may play: feel free to bring friends, family or colleagues who are not members.
How do you get onto the padel court?
There is a keypad lock beside the door. BerkSports has its own access code for it, and that code is in the confirmation email for your booking. The code works from 15 minutes before until 15 minutes after your playing time, and the court lights are on during that same window.
The code belongs to your booking and its use is logged, so please do not share it. Always check that the door is properly shut when you leave.
How did padel at BerkSports start?
Padel at BerkSports began with a WhatsApp group. Ricardo Berkhout created it on 24 August 2026, eleven days before the opening. On 4 September, the day the court opened, it had 43 members.

The first bookings were made by hand: a message with the day, the time and the duration, which Ricardo put into the schedule, followed by a payment request. The booking system on the site now does that work. Available times, payment and the confirmation email with the access code all run automatically, and the group chat is there for news about the court.
Frequently asked questions about padel at BerkSports
Do I have to be a BerkSports member to play padel?
To book a court, yes: the BerkSports booking system is for members. Anyone may play, so you can book the court and stand on it with friends, family or colleagues who are not members. If you would like to join, come along first for a free trial session with no strings attached; the memberships and prices are on the site.
Do I need my own padel racket?
No. Beside the padel court there is a box of rackets you can use; the code for that box is in your confirmation email. If you would rather play with your own gear, the padel section of Icelion, the web shop run by Robin and Jacqueline, can help you.
Can I play padel at the same time every week?
Yes. BerkSports can hold a fixed weekly slot on the padel court for you, including at times the booking system does not offer as standard. That does not happen through the site: send an email to info@berksports.nl with the day, the time and the duration you have in mind.
Until when can I cancel my padel booking?
You can cancel your padel booking free of charge up to 3 hours before the start. That is not something you do yourself on the site: email info@berksports.nl, the address that is also in your confirmation email. Give the day and the start time of your booking and BerkSports will take care of the rest.
Will there be padel lessons at BerkSports?
Yes, BerkSports intends to organise padel lessons in the future. When that will be is not yet settled; it will be announced on the site and in the padel group on WhatsApp. Until then the court is there for you to play on yourselves, with players of every level.
